Bigger Than Business is a barbershop in Texas that can provide you with good-looking style and a fresh cut using hot towels and an old-fashioned straight razor shave.
The Begining
I began cutting hair at the age of 14 in New Orleans, La. My parents were not in a financial position to pay for the regular haircuts I wanted. There were Barbers in the neighborhood who were running their barbershops from their homes, so I would go and visit them and watch them as they worked and I was instantly drawn in and thats where my passion for the industry became clear.
Bigger than business, not just a cut but a connection. Service with excellence.
2005
On August 28, 2005, Hurricane Katrina impacted my life in so many ways. I was on a life journey and part of that was trying to find a place to live. I found myself in Marble Falls, TX, thanks to an incredible church led by Pastor Willie Monnet Sr., He taught me the value of seeking opportunities and accepting God’s blessings no matter how difficult they were to obtain. I took these lessons with me to Marble Falls.
2021
For almost 20 years I worked as a lineman (power lines) while still cutting hair on the side. Then after the Covid-19 pandemic hit, God moved me to pursue my gifts and calling. In February of 2021, I enrolled in barber school and got my license in November. Then on the 21st of December 2021, I worked my last day in the electric industry. I started working at a shop until God blessed me again with my shop; Bigger Than Business Barbershop which opened on July 1st, 2022.

Pursuing my dreams has not been easy, but I have been blessed with the support of my beautiful wife Kizzy Green who I married on March 19th, 2005. She is undoubtedly the woman sent to me by God who also blessed us with 4 kids and 2 grandkids. My family including my dad Charles L Green Sr. are my biggest inspirations in my life and my motivation to succeed. My dreams are coming true. Glory to God.
